Did God use TeenStreet to transform you? Are you willing to now serve behind the scenes so God can touch the lives of other youth?
Did God use TeenStreet to transform you? Are you willing to now serve behind the scenes so God can touch the lives of other youth?
OM holds TeenStreet events across the world to motivate and equip Christian teens to have a real friendship with Jesus and to reflect Him daily in their world.
Every year, the TeenStreet Europe youth event in Germany welcomes more than 3000 participants from across Europe, including around 300 from France!
Behind every life-changing event is a dedicated team working quietly in the background, making it possible for every teen to be present at the event and experience all God has in store for each of them. Would you be willing to invest in this way?
We’re looking for committed volunteers to serve in a variety of roles. (see the second description for the role in Communication):
Application administration
- Learn the system that is used for the TeenStreet event applications
- Work alongside TS Europe to ensure the administrative system for registering French participants is fully prepared in advance
- Manage the full registration process for TS France, tracking incoming applications, verifying documents, etc. and communicating with applicants as needed.
- Respond to queries from French parents/churches/other linked to the application process.
- Assist in organising small groups of French teens and matching each group with the right coach (group leader).
- Oversee French Service Team applicants, ensuring each volunteer’s role at the event aligns with their language skills and any health considerations.
- Identify any special needs communicated in the applications (health, dietary, etc.) and other needs throughout the process (additional coaches needed, etc.). Keep TS France leadership informed and updated.
- Be present at TeenStreet Europe and TeenCity (TS France’s national event) to support in an administrative capacity during the event(s) while seeing first-hand the fruit of your labour.
Ideal qualities:
- A heart for young people and for seeing them grow in their faith
- Ideally have basic communication skills in English
- Good administrator
- Strong organisational skills, diligent and reliable
- Team-oriented yet self-motivated
Based from home – working hours to be defined based on the applicant’s availability, however, a certain flexibility will be required in the workload considering the time of year, registration demands, and peak periods. And attendance at the TeenStreet event is necessary.
Spiritual Requirements:
- To be growing in your relationship with God
- To love God and people as yourself.
- Be passionate about discipleship and see how even serving in an administrative role is essential for this to be able to happen.
