Be part of strengthening and delivering a preventative pastoral care and counseling program in a Christian school setting and lead a small VCJF group
Key Responsibilities include
-Individual student counseling (stress, conflict, wellbeing, academic pressure)
-Design and deliver whole-school programs (Life Skills, Health, Mental Health Awareness, exam support)
-Small groups & presentations (bullying, grief, self-worth, social skills, resilience)
-Partner with families and support student goal-setting and future planning
-Collaborate with staff and leadership in critical incidents and student care planning
-Uphold safeguarding procedures and maintain confidential counseling records
-Connect with locals and lead a small group
We are looking for someone who is:
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in school counselling, education, or a related field.
-Student-centered, compassionate, and professional
-Skilled in adolescent counseling and preventative education
-A strong collaborator with staff and families
-Committed to child safeguarding and confidentiality
-Able to serve within a Christian school environment
