Represent the global profile of mission opportunities
Status: Full-time (35 hours per week).
Compensation: Assessed to align with band 2 of the OM Canada team compensation policy (2026 FTE: $3,121.20 - $4,681.80). The successful candidate will be required to raise an agreed proportion of the finances required to fund this position.
This role fills a currently vacant position. AI will not be used to assess candidates for this role.
While this position carries significant responsibility for implementation and coordination, final decision-making authority rests with the Director of Mobilization.
KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAS)
1. Church and Network Development (25%)
Core Activities
• Develop relationships with local congregations and ministry networks so OM Canada’s mission and vision are clearly communicated.
• Attend ministerial gatherings to build rapport and strengthen relationships.
• Host gatherings that help strengthen church involvement with OM ministries.
• Introduce OM Field guests to a network of churches and collaborate on itineraries for visiting OM speakers.
• Come alongside local initiatives that align with OM Canada’s mission.
• Resource prayer networks with OM needs; attend local prayer initiatives where available.
• Grow our network of new churches and pastors.
2. Strategic Partnerships (30%)
Core Activities
• Identify Canadian churches with aligned vision and facilitate 3-year (or longer) partnership pathways with OM Fields/ministries.
• Clarify what resources OM Canada can provide to strengthen the partnership.
• Line up presentation teams, special guests, or events in your area that would build contacts and momentum.
3. Recruitment and Pipeline (20%)
Core Activities
• Promote OM ministries by attending aligned conferences and church events.
• Meet with individuals/groups exploring mission engagement; provide next steps.
• Use digital channels appropriately to communicate opportunities to pray, serve, and give.
• Maintain a moves-management pipeline from first interest to application/placement.
4. Administration and Reporting (10%)
Core Activities
• Record all potential recruit data in OM systems before handoff to Mission Coaches; maintain timely contact reports.
• Submit ministry receipts to Finance on time; follow OM policy.
• Report regularly on meetings, events attended, touring plans, and outcomes.
• Complete required OM training (such as: tools, safeguarding, theology, evangelism best practices).

5. Ministry involvement (5%)
Ensure you are actively involved in team life at your location when possible, in order to ensure you are ministering to others and being ministered to.
Core activities
• Actively participate on a regular basis in team devotions, prayer times, meetings and social functions.
• Serve practically within the team to ensure whatever needs to be done is done well and the load is shared around.
• Seek to be an encouragement to your fellow team members.
6. Support base development (10%)
Actively develop and maintain a prayer and financial support base for your ministry with OM Canada, in order to resource your ministry and that of OM Canada with prayer and financial resources.
Core activities
• Maintain regular contact with your prayer partners, financial supporters and sending church(es) - developing relationships that minister to them and further your partnership with them.
• Develop your prayer and financial support base on a continual basis by asking individuals, groups and churches to join your support team as you have opportunity.
7. Safe working practices
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with written and verbal communicated internal and external safety, environmental and country specific legal regulation in order to ensure safe working practice.
Core activities
• Ensure that both your own and the area you are working in is kept clean, orderly and safe.
• Ensure a safe and correct usage and adequate maintenance of used tools and equipment.
• Work in accordance with verbal and written communicated safety and environmental regulations and understand and know the risks and risk assessments related to your role and duties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Preferred Values

• Fluent in written and spoken English; French is an asset.
• Strong public speaking skills.

• Budgeting and financial management skills, including managing event budgets and tracking expenses.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Ability to dedicate sufficient time to fulfil the role as agreed with the Director of Mobilization.
• Strong networking skills; able to connect individuals and churches to mission pathways.
• Effective collaborator across internal and external teams (Mobilization, Communications, Donor Development, Operations).
• Cross-cultural sensitivity, with some overseas experience preferred (kept refreshed periodically).
• Proficiency in OM communication, reporting, and personnel management systems (e.g., Virtuous, Caleb).
General Required Competencies
• Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders and demonstrate good judgement
• Strong administrative skills and self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks under supervision, as well as independently
• Experience in innovate thinking and ability to generate new ideas.
Technical Competencies
• Strong computer skills including databases, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), PowerPoint, and various other platforms.
• Professional design skills is an asset.
• Ability to set-up and manage video cameras, display screens, projectors, and kiosk tablets.
• Event planning and on-site delivery experience (church or ministry context preferred).
• Comfortable coordinating tours and traveling teams.
• CRM discipline for activity logging, follow-ups, and pipeline hygiene.
• Competent with Microsoft 365/Google Workspace; Zoom/Webinar tools; basic A/V.
• Public speaking/hosting ability is an asset.
Other Requirements
• Valid passport for potential international travel.
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours.
Limits of Authority
Authorized to fulfill assigned tasks, research, and reporting responsibilities within established guidelines and under the supervision of the Director of Mobilization.
Does not hold signing or decision-making authority for funding agreements or strategic direction.
Environmental Aspects
This position may be performed at OM Canada’s head office or remotely. Occasional travel may be required.
Evaluation / Appraisal
Performance will be reviewed annually by the Director of Mobilization, based on achievement in the KRAs listed above.
