We are seeking motivated and hardworking applicants for the position of Farm Labourer in a school farm and with a heart to make Jesus known.
You will report directly to the Farm Manager and contribute to the daily operations and maintenance of the FarmLab.
Duties and Responsibilities
Applicants must be capable of performing physical labour and heavy lifting while carrying out duties including, but not limited to:
-Perform general farm duties such as planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting crops.
-Assist in monitoring plant and animal growth and health, including pest and disease control.
-Proactively maintain the FarmLab grounds, gardens, greenhouse, and aquaponics system to ensure safe, healthy, and efficient operation.
-Support the overall upkeep and functionality of the FarmLab environment.
-Work some weekend hours as required.
-You will also be expected to connect with locals and start a small group for discipleship
Requirements
-Ability to perform physical labour and heavy lifting.
-Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
-Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of the Farm Manager.
-Interest or experience in farming, agriculture, or environmental work will be an advantage.
-Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
