Mission Mobiliser

Mobilising
a. Mobilise Christians in Singapore to participate in the work of missions (e.g. millennials, retirees etc.)
b. Promote mission opportunities.
c. Coordinate and represent OM Singapore in different mobilising events (e.g. church engagements, mission tables, national mission conferences, etc)

Personnel
a. Assist with incoming enquiries for mission opportunities.
b. Assist the Field Personnel Officer in journeying with each missionary applicant through the following stages from enquiry phase to returning from ministry fields.
c. Maintain database records of mission participants.
d. Provide administrative support for mission workers for any issues that may arise.
e. Support any other personnel-related and mobilising-related functions for OM Singapore.
f. Assist in fielding key impact stories of OM Singapore’s mobilising efforts and Singaporean mission workers.

Other Responsibilities
a. Contribute to other functions for OM Singapore (e.g. OM events, church engagements, mission workshops etc.)
b. Team Commitments (e.g. Devotions, Team Duties, Team Events etc.)

The following are an integral part of each job description for everybody serving with OM:

1. Ministry involvement: Ensure you are actively involved in team life when possible, in order to ensure you are ministering to others and being ministered to.
2. Actively participate on a regular basis in prayer times and social functions.
3. Seek to be an encouragement to your fellow team members.
4. Support base development: Actively develop and maintain a prayer and financial support base for your ministry with OM in order to resource your ministry and that of OM Singapore with prayer and financial resources.

Job Requirements and Competencies:
1. As OM Singapore is a faith-based, non-profitable mission organisation, kindly note this is a support-raising position.
2. This position is for Singapore-based applicants only.
3. Love for the Lord, mission experience, and a desire to see the Church and Christians in Singapore mobilised for global missions.
4. Skillsets in active listening and interviewing, building and managing relationships, problem solving, negotiation, ability to relate to people of all levels and background
5. Conversant in MS Office Suite.
6. Fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to cross-cultural environments, team player.
