I was born in Lahore, Pakistan into a large family of 10. After a difficult childhood because of financial instability, I left for the Arabian Peninsula to make a living and support my parents and siblings in 1982. In 1990, after a series of motorcycle accidents, the doctors informed me that the only way forward was to amputate my right leg. At the time, I was working in the UAE, far away from my family in Pakistan. After receiving this news, I became hopeless and deeply depressed, even entertaining thoughts of suicide.

It was during this dark season that an acquaintance took me to an underground evangelistic meeting, where I met a Canadian missionary. I was expecting the speaker to lay hands on me and that I would be healed. Instead, she challenged me to put my faith in Jesus and surrender my life to Him. She told me that God would use me around the world to share the Gospel. At first, I could not believe her words—but right there and then, I placed my faith in Jesus.

I was baptized the following year and began serving Him by sharing the Gospel wherever God would lead me. In 1999, I started serving with OM in a voluntary role in the UAE. In 2006 I quit my job and joined OM full time serving in mobilization and evangelism even within that faith-restricted nation.

In 2011, God led my family and me to serve in Ontario, Canada. Since then, I have been involved in local outreach, evangelism, and discipleship through my local church as well as other churches across the GTA. I currently serve full-time as one of OM Canada’s Missions Mobilizers. Thirty-five years and six continents later—after serving in both short- and long-term roles—God is using me to mobilize believers to respond to His call on their lives and to participate in his Great Commission.

I am passionate about seeing the lost come to Jesus and I share the Gospel at any cost.  I love to journey with followers of Christ leading them to see that they are part of God's bigger mission.
