The van Rietschoten family served on board the Logos Hope for several years. The experiences lived in the dozens of countries visited and the various international teams they have been part of, have given them a large worldview and a passion to see a vibrant community of Jesus followers within the reach of everyone.

Since coming back to Canada, they are serving in the OM Canada office. David is working as the gift administrator, making sure that the funds that come in are directed correctly to the people and projects around the world. Matildes is working as a mission’s mobilizer, representing the global profile of mission opportunities. Her activities involve communication with churches, Christian groups, and individuals, helping to facilitate missions’ involvement, opportunities for short-and-long term missions’ trips world-wide, trainings, and prayer network. They see their current roles as serving locally, impacting globally.

Their children are now teenagers and active part of life and ministry.
