I grew up in a Christian home with both of my parents, who were missionaries with an organization called Faith Mission. Because of this, I have always thought about going into missions when I grew up. From a young age, I’ve been involved in serving at church, helping with outreach at community events, participating in our annual Christmas Live Nativity, and supporting Sunday morning services through media and worship ministries. I have also spent summers at bible camp, which has helped me mature into the Christian I am today.
Following high school, I wanted to pursue a mission trip to discern whether long-term missions is something God might be calling me to and to strengthen my faith before I go off to university. When I was looking for a program, the Logos Hope stood out to me. This was because it was set up well for young people like myself, it travels so I would experience more cultures, and I think big ships are really cool.
Something that God has put on my heart is evangelism. I love to tell others about the gospel. To ask them questions and to try my best to answer their question.
