About TeenStreet: A Global Christian Movement
Since its humble beginnings in 1993 with just 53 teenagers, TeenStreet has grown into an international congress for Christian teens. Today, we host week-long events in 6 countries and weekend events in over 15 countries across 4 continents, impacting more than 10,000 participants and volunteers annually. With plans to expand to over 30 more countries—including the Middle East, Africa, and Asia—TeenStreet continues to grow. We’re thrilled to bring this life-changing movement to Canada.
Building Lasting Connections Through Church Partnerships
At TeenStreet, we prioritize collaboration with churches and youth groups. Our goal is not only to inspire teens but also to ensure they remain connected to a vibrant Christian community after TeenStreet. By working together, we support the spiritual growth of teenagers and strengthen the Church’s role in their faith journey.
“The highlight of the year had to be our Sr. High Spring retreat when the TeenStreet team facilitated the event. The weekend was a time of fun and intimate fellowship as we ate, laughed, prayed, encouraged and cried together. This was certainly a mountain top experience, and perhaps one of the most special moments in all my 20 years of youth ministry.
Small Groups: Growing in Faith Together
A cornerstone of TeenStreet is the small group experience. Teens are placed in groups with peers of similar age and language, guided by a caring adult leader who shares their own walk with Jesus. These groups provide a safe space for meaningful discussions, spiritual growth, and personal support.
TeenStreet equips teenagers to live out their faith practically. Through main meetings, they learn how to deepen their relationship with God and apply biblical principles to their daily lives. This learning is reinforced in their small groups, where they reflect on teachings and develop strategies for living out their faith at home and beyond.
TeenStreet offers a dynamic mix of activities that appeal to diverse interests. From sports and creative arts to seminars and workshops, every participant has opportunities to explore their talents, grow spiritually, and build lasting friendships.
As we launch TeenStreet Canada, our vision is to inspire a new generation of teens to passionately follow Jesus, make wise decisions, and positively impact their world. Together with churches, leaders, and volunteers, we’re excited to see how God will use this ministry to transform lives across Canada.
