On that first Easter morning, resurrection hope didn’t stay in one place. It moved — from an empty tomb in Jerusalem outward to the nations. That same movement continues today. And Canada, with its extraordinary mosaic of peoples and cultures, is one of the places where that story is unfolding right now.
Across Operation Mobilization in Canada, workers are serving faithfully — mobilizing churches, mentoring young leaders, discipling believers, and helping send Canadians to the least reached. Among them are many cross-cultural missionaries from around the world who now call Canada home.
Many came for education, employment, or family. In time, God connected them to OM’s mission — and now they’re using their gifts and cross-cultural insight to strengthen the Church and reach diaspora communities across our nation.
One of the most vivid examples is OM’s Afghan ministry, operating from Canada. This team connects with Afghans around the world, serves the Afghan community here in Canada, and supports ministry efforts tied to Afghanistan itself. It’s a picture of how the Gospel moves — carried by people willing to serve wherever God places them.
Cross-cultural workers often begin their ministry in Canada without established support networks. Currency differences make raising sufficient funding especially difficult. The calling is clear — but the financial strain is real.
At the same time, every OM worker in Canada — whether serving cross-culturally or leading from within — depends on faithful partnership to remain healthy, focused, and fully present to the people they serve.
This Easter, your gift ensures that nothing holds them back.

For any new recurring gift to Canada’s Worker’s Fund, every dollar you give will be matched dollar-for-dollar for the first full year. Your commitment doubled, from the very first month.
Recurring gifts provide long-term stability that workers need as they build ministry in Canada. They’re especially meaningful — and right now, especially powerful.
