As a volunteer you'll prepare the rooms for our guests & look after them during their stay, and make sure they'll feel welcome and at home with us!
Purpose
We receive guests from Ireland and the world to our guest facilities at Lacken House each year. It's a place of training, retreat and fellowship. From here, we send people out all over Ireland to impact the local community. You can help us make this possible by looking after our guests, helping in daily hospitality tasks and other practical needs.
What to Expect
You'll help with the daily running of the guesthouse, preparing rooms for guests, maintaining the general areas, welcoming people in and cleaning after they leave. You'll be part of our local team, and so have plenty of opportunity to get involved in some local ministries, as well as enjoy fellowship as we work together. If this lies in your interests and giftings, there are sometimes opportunities for catering and practical maintenance work on site as well.
You can join us for anything from 1 week to a few months.
